Baylor Scott & White, The Heart Hospital is seeking an experienced First Assist Advanced Practice Provider to join the Department of Cardiology specializing in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, located in Plano, Texas.
Opportunity Highlights:
Schedule: Monday - Friday
No floor or clinic duties - OR only

o Must have experience in vein harvesting

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited program
NPs must have: RNFA certifications
Cardiology and OR experience required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA) OR the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB)
Unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) CNP license, Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire or transfer.
