Job Summary and QualificationsUtilizing the standards of care set forth by the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the Registered Nurse (RN) in hemodialysis will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will fall within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act and will include individualized, holistic, supportive and safe care for the adult and geriatric patient population requiring hemodialysis. The RN maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions within the parameters of their legal scope of practice and in accordance with the federal, state, and local laws; rules and regulations; and policies, procedures and guidelines of Medical City Healthcare (MCH).
